In this pivotal role, you’ll help drive the effective application of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework (EWRMF), enabling activities across Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), risk appetite, control effectiveness, issue management and risk event execution. You’ll also support governance activities, providing reporting, escalation and decision-making insight across relevant business and risk forums.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll promote a practical and commercially focused approach to risk management. We'll look to you to strengthen risk awareness, improve control effectiveness and support better outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business.
Your work will focus on:
We’re looking for someone with significant experience in business risk management, risk partnering, controls, governance or a related financial services discipline. You’ll bring strong understanding of the EWRMF and practical experience applying risk appetite, RCSA, control effectiveness, issue management and risk event frameworks. Experience operating within a complex regulated environment, translating policy, regulatory and framework requirements into practical business outcomes and informed risk decisions is also essential.
