A leading global financial services firm is seeking an experienced Business Risk Management Manager in Edinburgh/London. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in risk management within financial services, with a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills. They will lead risk management frameworks and act as a partner to business functions to drive effective risk decision-making. This role offers flexible work-life support and development opportunities.
This role requires an experienced operation risk manager with more than 7 years’ experience in similar financial services and servicing / operational roles. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Business Risk in the UK and act as a primarly contact for Risk and Control matters for local senior management and work with BRM Global and Functionally aligned teams located across State Streets global footprint. They will be responsible for effective FLOD Business Risk Management for UK Contracted Clients primarily covering Global Delivery, Chief Commercial Office and UK Legal Entity requirements.
The role can be based in Edinburgh or London.
The current remit of Business Risk Management (BRM) in the UK is to provide a wholistic view of Risk and Control matters via a robust FLOD Risk Framework.
