Overview

A true advisor role working with one of the UK’s largest consultancy and insolvency practices advising on an impressive range of mid-market companies.

Responsibilities

• Assist businesses in restructuring with a focus on turnaround through varying degrees of financial stress.
• Work with major lenders and funders reviewing the performance and viability of their customers, undertaking Independent Business Reviews (IBR’s) and recommending solutions.
• Directly advise companies on performance improvement, financial management and business turnaround and handle formal insolvency assignments such as trading administrations.
• Participate in a variety of engagements spanning financial investigation and reporting, company disposals and fund raising, turnaround and restructuring and formal insolvency.
• Collaborate within a role that offers exceptional progression opportunities and future paths into other areas of finance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or CA), either ICAEW or ICAS, with up-to-date professional practice experience. Experience in business restructuring is not required; those from audit, tax, corporate finance, transaction services or other disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional communication skills, a business mindset, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
