Job description

Type of Position: Business Quality Officer - Remote Working
Pay: £38k - £46k

Business Quality Officer - Remote Working

We are looking for a Business Quality Officer to work for our clients team in Farnborough. You will be remotely file checking, to review the suitability and quality of advice given to customers by the firm and to ensure that any identified areas of concern or development are appropriately addressed. The ideal candidate will be a team player, hardworking and have excellent attention to detail to ensure all cases are reviewed to meet both the Company’s and regulated standards.

This position will offer hybrid working from their Farnborough office, with a salary on offer up to £46k.

Main Responsibilities

- Review cases pre-sale.
- Communicate with the Paraplanning, Training & Compliance and Technical & Proposition teams with feedback on cases.
- Complete and maintain the structured training and competence scheme.

- Investigating and assessing suitability and quality of advice

- Provision of clear and concise feedback

- Ability to ensure that identified remedial actions are followed through

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma qualified (essential)
- AF3/AF7 or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong communication skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to compare reports with both written and audio recorded client documents.
- IT literate.
- Pension transfer knowledge is desirable.
- Experience within a Compliance or Advisory role within an FCA-regulated retail environment.
