Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited offers an internship in Improvement & Performance Management at our Broughton, North Wales site. You will work directly with the Head of Performance Management, coordinating your own activities and projects while engaging with international stakeholders and developing your leadership style.

You will gain practical experience across performance reporting, risk management, supply chain coordination, and quality governance within a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Business, Management, IT, Project Management, or equivalent.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same in this role. Working directly with the Head of Performance Management, you won't just be shadowing-you will coordinate your own activities and projects, collaborate closely with international stakeholders, and be fully supported in discovering and developing your own unique leadership style and personal development plan.

You will look across different areas and gain practical real world experience within our team's core areas, including:

• Performance & Report ing: Diving into data analysis to identify key performance topics , simplifying complex messages to facilitate management decisions, and contributing directly to senior management performance reviews;
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Learning how to understand business risks before they happen and transforming operational challenges into positive opportunities;
• Supply Chain Management: Gaining invaluable insight into how we build relationships, manage performance, and coordinate logistics with our critical external partners;
• Quality & Business Management Systems: Understanding the framework of how a global leader like Airbus maintains its high standards of quality and operational compliance.

Skills you will develop

• Data Analytics & Storytellin g: Connecting data points to create clear, meaningful insights for senior leaders;
• Cross-Cultural Communication: Partnering daily with transnational teams across Europe;
• Business Acumen: Project coordination, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Security Clearance
