Job summary

Twinings Ovaltine is seeking a Business Performance Partner for a 12-month fixed term contract in Andover. You will deliver financial performance partnering to the business, identifying commercial risks and opportunities while driving short-term sales and profit growth toward the wellbeing drinks brand.

You’ll provide financial insight, analysis and forecasting, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Brand and Finance teams to ensure robust, commercially-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG environment and strong finance partnering.
• Proven ability in forecasting, budgeting and risk tracking.
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders with concise storytelling.
• Expertise in cross-functional finance partnering with sales, marketing and supply.

We’re looking for a Business Performance Partner on a 12 month FTC, to deliver financial performance partnering to the business. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying commercial risks and opportunities, whilst also driving short term sales and profit growth - helping us towards becoming a leading brand within wellbeing drinks.

You’ll be a key, commercially minded voice within business-wide messaging around financial performance - providing clear insight, analysis and partnering to Sales and Marketing teams, all with the goal of achieving key financial metrics collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering the right information tracking / insight at the right time, to drive decisions through business rhythm.
• Partnering performance interventions in the 0-18 month short to mid-term, to drive sales and profit growth.
• Business partnering with the Commercial and Brand hub teams, to ensure financially robust and business-driving opportunities are identified and created.
• Providing financial collaboration, analysis, reporting, modelling and forecasting to stakeholders of diverse remits across the business, with commentary and support tailored to their financial understanding.

• Online and OOH performance reporting and commentary.
• Experience of working within an FMCG environment.
• Forecast and budget support, including risks, opportunities and intervention tracking.
• Leadership updates and performance storytelling for senior stakeholders.
• ROI / ROAS and investment effectiveness analysis across media, promotional and customer spend.
• Commercial business cases and financial modelling to support decision-making.
• Cross-functional finance partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Supply and Finance teams.
• Demonstrable experience of hands-on commercial finance business partnering within FMCG and tailoring your approach based on level of financial understanding / buy-in.
• A passion for commercial finance and the positive impact of partnering with sales and marketing teams.
• An ability to turn insight and information into ideas and to be able to translate finance information to non-finance colleagues.
