The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background and be adept at client management. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the HR/OD Service for an experienced HR practitioner to join our team of HR Business Partners.
The Business Partner role acts as the main contact for services providing strategic advice and support on all people-related issues. In a period of unprecedented change, our Business Partner will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the HR Service, supporting Westmorland and Furness Council to achieve its objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for customer-focused client management and will be the main point of contact for directorate/service in relation to key people management issues and requirements. Providing a high level of strategic customer-focused service our Business Partner will build strong relationships with key service areas, understanding their needs and formulating solutions that utilise the full resources of the HR team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong generalist HR background and evidence of formulating and implementing strategic HR solutions.
