Job description

The Business Operations Partner is a strategic partner to executive leadership, responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning cross‑functional priorities, and enabling effective decision‑making. This role ensures that strategic initiatives are executed efficiently, internal communications are streamlined, and organizational goals are met with clarity and accountability. Familiarity with cybersecurity, physical security, risk management, regulatory compliance, and/or the healthcare industry is desired, but a proven track record of driving continuous improvements and critical thinking is essential.

Schedule: This is a full‑time position Monday - Friday, with standard working hours. You can work remotely from anywhere within the UK as you take on some tough challenges. Note: this is a global role – you will need flexibility to work later or start earlier when needed to work across global time zones.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Partner with executive leadership to shape and implement strategic priorities.
    • Translate high‑level vision into actionable goals, KPIs, and delivery plans.
    • Monitor progress and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee day‑to‑day business operations, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
    • Lead cross‑functional projects and ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain business metrics to track performance and compliance.
  • Executive Support & Advisory
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Security Architect and senior leadership team.
    • Prepare briefing documents, board papers, and strategic presentations.
    • Represent leadership in meetings and engagements when required.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Mentor junior staff and support hiring/onboarding processes.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Coordinate contract deliverables, audits, and policy reviews.
    • Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
    • Facilitate implementation of new laws and internal governance frameworks.
  • Communication & Change Management
    • Ensure consistent messaging across leadership and teams.
    • Draft executive communications and internal updates.
    • Lead change initiatives and support organisational transformation.
