A prominent health organization in the UK is seeking an experienced operational leader to manage the Clinical Biotechnology Centre. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with quality standards and maximizing efficiency through innovative processes. Ideal candidates will have management experience in a laboratory setting and a relevant MSc. Reporting to the Head of the Clinical Biotechnology Centre you will lead and manage a small office-based operational team, responsible for running the day-to-day facility operations in support of the business in ensuring the new state of the art facility runs smoothly and effectively. The Clinical Biotechnology Centre has over 20 years experience in the manufacturing of innovative molecular therapies, that treat life-threatening conditions in early phase clinical trials. This new role will be interesting, diverse and rewarding with an opportunity to use your initiative to critically review and introduce new operational management improvements for the efficient running of the facility. Communication and engagement are key for this role, and you will need to build effective relationships across the organisation and beyond, resolve issues and share best practice with other facilities within the function. To start with, we will provide you with an extensive induction and training programme. This will provide you with the skills and knowledge you will need to develop operating in a GMP regulated facility.
