L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Operations Manager based in Brighton. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across Manufacturing, Materials, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, CI, Training and NPI to deliver strategic objectives.

You will develop and execute strategies to improve cost, efficiency, quality and delivery, while building a high-performing, inclusive team through talent management. This role reports into the Release Systems & Antennas division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) with 9+ years of related experience or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership with the ability to influence across functions.
• Broad, specialist technical or professional discipline with cross-domain understanding.
• Fundamental knowledge in EHS to drive zero-injury plans.
• Extensive experience in production and manufacturing management of complex assembly, integration and testing.
• Experience in Programme Management and Earned Value Management or EAC analysis.

• Ensure Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality are fully engaged throughout the product development lifecycle to optimise manufacturability.
• Partner with Programme Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functions to deliver strategic and operational objectives.
• Monitor and report on strategic goals and operational performance, implementing action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the deployment of operational strategies, best practices, and performance measures across the organisation.
• Manage performance and deliver results within a complex matrix environment.

The role will involve

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably Engineering related) and minimum 9 years prior related experience OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline and may have broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
• Fundamental knowledge in EHS to drive zero injury plans with a proactive approach
• Extensive experience in Production & manufacturing management of complex electro & mechanical assembly, system integration and testing and or related commodities/processes
• Working knowledge and experience in Programme Management, Earned Value Management and/or comprehensive estimate-at-complete (EAC) establishment and analysis
