This is an exciting opportunity within Macquarie's Commodities & Global Markets First Line Risk Management Team in London, supporting its growing business in EMEA. This desk works directly with the end-to-end business stakeholders to ensure the key non-financial risks are being effectively identified, assessed, managed and monitored. The Business Operational Risk Manager is responsible for facilitating the continued improvement in processes, controls risk awareness and culture across our businesses.

What role will you play?

As a subject matter expert, you will be required to partner with the trading desks and leverage your expertise to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the front to back processes and proactively identify, assess, report and manage the associated non-financial risks. You would also be involved in providing advice on a broad range of risk matters, assessing new product and business initiatives, investigating incidents, and testing the effectiveness of controls and providing input into regulatory responses and audit reviews.
