Job summary

A recruitment agency is searching for a Business Officer in Cheshire on a 9-month ongoing contract. The successful candidate will manage enquiries for the Safeguarding Adults Board, support key meetings, and maintain office systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis is essential. Minute Experience Needed
  1. Act as a responsive and helpful central point of resolution for enquiries and queries to the Safeguarding Adults Board and the Community Safety Partnership, prioritising and appropriately dealing with or redirecting communications in a timely manner.
  2. Effectively organise and support a range of partnership Board Meetings, and internal & external meetings.
  3. Effectively develop and maintain up to date office and filing systems, stationery, stock and equipment, actively reporting issues, arranging maintenance and repair and managing purchasing and receipting systems in a timely manner.
  4. Appropriately source and analyse data and information including complex, financial, confidential and sensitive data and information.
  5. Produce high level reports, letters, documents, spreadsheets, newsletters and presentations using Microsoft Office, and maintaining/updating the Board’s webpages and social media.
  6. Support the co‑ordination, implementation and maintenance of Safeguarding Adults Reviews monitoring and governance including statutory and regulatory matters, in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure and investigate budget discrepancies or queries in conjunction with the SAB Business Coordinator.
  8. Lead on and undertake projects as agreed with the Business Co‑ordinator, and to deputise for the Business Coordinator as required and as appropriate.
