Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site operations, ensuring safety, environmental, and financial targets are met.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational efficiency across a 3MT operation and a team of 100 FTE.
- Provide strategic insight through business intelligence initiatives, monthly review packs, and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence decision‑making and deliver sustainable growth.
- The main activities of the role involves leading, directing and managing the operational team to achieve its performance objectives.
- Take statutory responsibility for operations (8.1c) and ensure the highest standards of health and safety.
- Lead, direct, and inspire the operational team to achieve ambitious performance targets.
- Challenge forecasts and budgets, analyse variances, and deliver actionable insights.
- Produce and present monthly business review packs to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Collaborate across functions to align operations with strategic priorities.
- Oversee business intelligence projects and support transformation initiatives.
