Overview

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insight? Do you want to play a pivotal role in transforming estates data to support strategic decision-making in a dynamic university environment?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Officer to join our Business Support department within PCS. This is a critical role that will support the development and implementation of data management, reporting processes, and visualisation tools to inform estates strategy, improve data quality, and enhance performance monitoring across the department.

Youll be at the heart of our data improvement plans, particularly contributing to the success of our strategic Asset Management project and ongoing departmental initiatives.

You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience or relevant professional experience).

This is a permanent post.

What Youll Do
  • Support improving the quality, accessibility, and consistency of estates data.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Support statutory data submissions and internal reporting requirements (e.g., HESA, EMR).
  • Work closely with data owners across the department to build capability and ensure robust data management practices.
  • Contribute to strategic objectives including sustainability, digital innovation, and campus efficiency.
