You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to design clear, user-friendly dashboards, train user groups, and support ad hoc requests. A strong SQL background and advanced Excel skills are essential.
BI Developer | Permanent | Flexible Location (UK)
I’m working with one of the UK’s best-known sports and live events organisations. They stage some of the biggest occasions on the British sporting calendar, and every penny they make goes back into the sport. They’re hiring a BI Developer to join their insights team.
They’ve invested heavily in their data over the last few years, and Power BI is now at the centre of how the business reports on performance. This role is about taking that further. You’ll build and maintain reporting, bring new data sources into their Power BI gateway, and turn the numbers into decisions people actually act on.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to scope and design dashboards that are clear and easy to use. You’ll train user groups, help the wider insights team turn around ad hoc requests quickly, and review how projects performed after they’ve been delivered. You’ll also have real room to push things forward, spotting where reporting could be better, challenging how things are done, and becoming the go-to voice for BI and data discipline across the organisation.
It’s a permanent role with flexible location and a 37.5-hour week. The organisation puts real weight on inclusion and actively wants people with different backgrounds and perspectives.
