| Salary £40,777 - £46,142 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence systems and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead data quality improvement initiatives and ensure robust, accurate reporting across service areas such as fleet deployment, recruitment, and compliance.
  • Provide analytical insights to support transformation projects, business cases, and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate systems and deliver impactful reporting solutions.
  • Use tools such as Power BI, SQL, and GIS to visualise data and support route planning, service design, and statutory reporting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, or formal professional qualification within a data or analytics specialism.
  • Proven experience in developing BI solutions using tools like Power BI, BusinessObjects, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in data modelling, dashboard development, and maintaining data infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decision‑making at all levels.
