The Opportunity

With a starting salary of £24,500, you'll gain hands‑on experience working on‑site at Heysham 2 power station, contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on performance and operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Business Performance team, you’ll gain practical experience in a large organisation, working in a customer‑focused environment, collaborating face to face with stakeholders across the station to drive engagement and performance. Your ability to coordinate, organise, and present diverse data sets will be key to gaining buy‑in and delivering results.

  • Analysing performance data to uncover trends identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting with business planning and communications, helping us tell compelling stories with data.
  • Producing insightful data packs, ensuring the right data is accurate, accessible and ready to inform real‑world decisions. Your attention to detail and dedication to data integrity will help drive meaningful outcomes across the business.
  • Collaborating within a cross‑functional team – You’ll work alongside experts from various disciplines, bringing your logical thinking, creativity, and coordination skills to solve complex challenges and deliver impactful results.
Your Work Location

You’ll be based on site at our #Heysham 2 Power Station, within the Business Performance Group.

Who You Are

To be eligible for this scheme, you need to be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business Management, Psychology, Human Factors or any Science and Engineering discipline.
