Boeing Defence UK Limited (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 2000 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK Defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISTAR Services, Through Life Support for the Chinook and Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services.

Boeing are looking for a Business & Facilities Support Specialist to support the Boeing teams based in Lossiemouth. Reporting to the Head of MRO, the Business & Facilities Support Specialist will work closely with the Operations Management team in this demanding and varied role.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are safe and compliant with local regulations
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing communication
  • Managing access to Boeing areas and integrations with the Atlantic Building
  • Processing visitor requests and ensuring planned visits are coordinated with the day to day operations in the facility
  • Processing incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information
  • Ordering and maintaining general office supplies
  • Planning and implementing logistics for internal and external events and meetings
  • Ensuring the Boeing area of the facility is maintained in excellent condition
  • Building a strong professional relationship with key people in the wider customer community at RAF Lossiemouth
Essential Qualifications and Skills

Experience and Skills That Would Help With the Role
  • Customer service
  • Experience working in a Boeing Defence facility

Work Authorisation

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK residency. This position requires the ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check.

Relocation

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
