Job summary

Coba Education Ltd is seeking a passionate Business & Economics Teacher for a long-term position at a Northamptonshire secondary school. You will teach Business Studies and Economics to KS4 and KS5, plan engaging lessons and monitor student progress. The role suits both experienced teachers and ECTs.

You’ll contribute to a positive learning environment, collaborate with colleagues, and support students to achieve their academic potential. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics in a secondary school.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Two recent professional references.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Coba Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Northamptonshire that is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher for a long-term position.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping them develop a strong understanding of business principles, enterprise, finance and economics. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
  • Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5
  • Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
  • Monitoring, assessing and supporting student progress

What We're Looking For
Essential:
