Job description

Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Business Development Support Officer to support its expanding business development team. This flexible role offers the opportunity to contribute to firm-wide growth projects while working in a collaborative environment.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating and tracking business development activities, including meetings, events, and follow-ups.
  • Maintaining CRM systems and ensuring accurate records of leads and opportunities.
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns (digital, print, and events).
  • Supporting the preparation and logistics for business development trips.
  • Liaising with designers and external providers to coordinate social media, newsletters, and website content.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and preparing basic reports for management.
  • Supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
  • Conducting market and competitor research to inform strategy.
  • Assisting with event management, including invitations, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in business support, administration, or marketing coordination, ideally within a fiduciary, legal or professional services environment. They will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. The successful candidate will be collaborative, creative, and enthusiastic about supporting business development initiatives within a professional setting.
