Business Development & Sales – Light Vehicles (4x4 Ute Trays)

PTE Group is a leading provider of Heavy and Light Transport solutions, with almost 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. We specialise in repairs and full new builds of custom-made trailers, trays and transport equipment, servicing Government, Dealerships, Commercial, Private and Mining clients across Western Australia.

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Business Development & Sales professional with Light Vehicle and 4x4 experience to join our team. This role is perfect for a sales and service go-getter who thrives on building strong relationships, winning new business, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing key accounts. You’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and account management
  • Actively pursue new sales opportunities and business leads
  • Sales of steel and aluminium Ute trays including 4x4 products
  • Prepare and respond to quotes in a timely manner
  • Attend industry events and functions
  • Gather customer insights and report on market needs
  • Plan and conduct structured customer visits by region
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver outcomes
  • State‑wide travel across WA, including some overnight stays
About You
  • Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally within Light Vehicles
  • Light Vehicle / Ute tray experience (highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of the 4WD/4x4 market (advantageous)
  • Highly motivated, proactive and results‑driven
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Comfortable representing a trusted brand at a high standard
