Overview

Location: Fareham (on-site)

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 base + £10,000 OTE (uncapped)

Reporting to: Business Development Director

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Representative to support the growth of a managed detection and response (MDR) provider based in Fareham. You’ll be working directly with the Business Development Director to build and develop a new sales territory, generating qualified opportunities across the SME and mid-market sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify leads across target verticals within the South of England
  • Develop a strong understanding of MDR, EDR, SOC, and wider security offerings
  • Work with the Business Development Director to build local market presence and outreach campaigns
  • Book meetings and demos for the senior sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in CRM
  • Support marketing and lead-generation initiatives to drive inbound interest
Requirements
  • 1–2 years’ experience in B2B technology sales or lead generation (cyber, IT, or telecoms preferred)
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Highly organised and target-driven
  • Interest in cyber security and a desire to grow within a commercial sales environment
  • Must be based locally to Fareham (on-site role)
