As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of power transmission in the UK and Nordic regions. You will be responsible for identifying market trends, defining key stakeholders, and developing innovative products and applications that meet customer needs. Your strategic insights and execution will drive our market share and competitive edge.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Map market and technology trends, identify value chains, and understand stakeholder challenges.
  • Competitive Profiling: Monitor Bekaert’s market share and profile main competitors, assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new product opportunities and coordinate development activities.
  • Strategic Execution: Develop and deliver value propositions, follow up on product performance, and update market insights.
  • Promotion: Promote Bekaert’s value propositions through webinars, conferences, and technical committees.
  • Marketing Communication: Create compelling marketing materials in collaboration with the Marketing Communication team.
Skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze information from various sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Swedish or Norwegian is a plus).
  • Team player with the ability to connect with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
Previous Experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in the power transmission or similar sector, ideally in a business development role.
Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
