A prominent insulation supplier is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Southeast of England. This role involves managing customer relationships and driving sales of AIM products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, particularly in insulation, and strong communication skills. AIM produces a wide variety of bespoke insulation products to customer specification and manufactures bespoke ranges of fire, thermal and acoustic insulation products - primarily but not exclusively for the construction industry. AIM provides a first-class service, supplying quality products on a rapid response basis.
With a drive to achieve organic growth, AIM is looking to strengthen its external sales team with the addition of a Business Development Manager role in the Southeast of England.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for owning and managing customer and installer relationships in the Southeast in a territory running from Hampshire through to Kent and south London. Your primary focus will be demand creation and subsequent sales of AIM branded products, working hand in hand with key sub-contractors, funnelling project requirements through an aligned distribution network. Additionally, you will be seeking new business opportunities for AIM’s fabrication capabilities with OEM customers.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the “on the ground” driving force for the growth of the AIM business within the Southeast of England. The primary challenge is to engage with your distribution customers so that they are fully aware of the AIM product and service offering generating a steady flow of enquiries and sales. Furthermore, you will be required to identify and build relationships with key installers so that their project requirements are serviced through your distribution customer base. You will work closely with AIM specification sales activities ensuring that project specifications are both held and understood by the installer base. You will be working hand in hand with technical support and internal sales personnel to deliver the highest levels of customer support and service are achieved.
