With exciting growth plans in place, they are now looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to lead sales across the South West – covering Bristol, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, and Cornwall.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded foodie who enjoys developing relationships, uncovering opportunities, and supporting customers in the professional food industry.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across the South West (Bristol, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, and Cornwall). Customers include foodservice wholesalers, Chocolatiers, bakeries, and Gelato suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow sales and strengthen customer relationships
  • Identify and win new business opportunities across the region
  • Collaborate with internal teams to bring new product ideas and solutions to customers
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the brand with passion, professionalism, and a consultative approach
  • Deliver sales growth through partnership, insight, and creativity

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development or Account Management within food, ingredients, or premium FMCG
  • Commercially astute with a genuine passion for food and flavour
  • Skilled at building authentic, long-term customer relationships
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work autonomously
  • Confident analysing sales data and creating actionable plans
  • Comfortable travelling across the region to meet customers face-to-face
  • Ideally based within the South West (Bristol, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, or Cornwall)
  • Culinary experience or a strong appreciation for artisan and professional ingredients would be an advantage
  • Salary: £47,000 to £53,000, dependent on experience
