Job Title: Business Development Manager - Protection

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Field based

We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will cover the Central London.

You will deliver agreed new business targets from a strong panel of Intermediaries in a manner that satisfies all regulatory and compliance responsibilities and meets our Corporate objectives.

As part of a successful team and responsible for a well-established panel, you will be field based and able to commute to your panel on a regular basis.

About the role
  • Deliver personal sales targets from a panel of Intermediaries by broadening support, deepening relationships, and achieving sustainable panel growth
  • Providing business consultancy to Intermediaries highlighting and promoting opportunities, whilst adding value to the adviser's business to achieve mutual growth
  • Comply with the Sales Process and Compliance reporting requirements, ensuring a smooth efficient and professional sales process in a Consumer Duty world focussed on client outcomes
  • Support and follow-up central sales campaigns and Strategic Partnership events, aligning colleagues and resources to maximise profitable new business production
About you
  • Experience working in the Financial Service Industry with a proven track record within the Protection market and ideally with experience of the Corporate and IHT Sectors
  • Knowledge of relevant competitor propositions and how Royal London propositions compare
  • Ability to discuss and debate industry issues, technical and legislative updates, in a competent and influential manner
  • Strong relationship, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • A desire to become Level 4 Diploma qualified or equivalent
