Job description

Established for over 100 years, my client is a leading print company offering a diverse range of printing services, including B1 Litho, Small Format Digital Print, Large Format, and Web2Print.

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK. This role is pivotal in expanding their client base and exploring new market sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the company's overall growth strategy.

The position will be mostly home-based, with client visits across the UK and travel to the client's North West site ideally once a week. The location is flexible depending on the candidate.

My client is open-minded and will consider candidates from other industries, preferably those with previous sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling the client's full product range, including B1 Litho Print, Digital Print, Large Format, Web2Print, and Direct Mail.
  • Selling into various industries (no restrictions).
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across different market sectors to expand the client base.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their printing needs, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within the printing industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
