Barnsley (Hybrid - Office, Home & Field Based)

£45,000 - £50,000

The Role:

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager who will lead the charge in both winning new business and growing existing accounts. You'll be working in a hybrid model — part in-office, part remote, and part in the field visiting clients — to deliver sales growth and build long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet growth targets
  • Identify new business opportunities in manufacturing, engineering and industrial markets
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
  • Prepare and present tailored sales proposals and quotations
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, pricing, delivery) to meet customer requirements
  • Represent RD Linings at client meetings, industry events and on-site visits
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales or account management preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Solid commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently and in a hybrid setup
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits
