A leading innovation organization in the UK is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the HealthTech sector. This hybrid role combines home working and travel to technology centers. The successful candidate will leverage their experience to engage with clients, generate leads, and develop proposals. A degree in a relevant science field and significant business development experience are required. The position offers a competitive salary and various benefits.
£50,000 - £62,000 per annum plus £491 per month car allowance – salary dependent on experience

CPI is looking for aproactive Business Development Manager to support the delivery of ambitious growth targets in the HealthTech sector. The role is offered on ahybrid basis, combining home working with regular travel to CPI ’s technology centres in Sedgefield and Darlington, where you will work closely with the technical teams, as well as support functions including marketing.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will utilise your experience and scientific knowledge to identify and develop opportunities to work on. You will engage with awide variety of clients from UK-based SMEs to multinationals, and represent CPI at trade events where you will generate leads and establish contact with decision-makers, linking their requirements to CPI ’s capabilities, working with technical teams to develop proposals.
Key tasks in the role will include (but are not limited to) the following:

It is essential you are qualified to aminimum of Degree level (or equivalent) in aLife Science or aPhysical Science. You should alsohave:
It would be great if you also had amaster’s degree (or equivalent) / higher education qualification and;
Please note that this role involves providing cover at various locations, often on short notice. Therefore, candidates must have avalid driver’s licence and access to avehicle to respond efficiently to different sites, as these are not easily accessible by public transport.
