Overview

Upergy is a leading French group in the sale of mobile and autonomous energy solutions through its international brands: Allbatteries, Enix Energies, Enix Power Solutions, 1001 Piles Batteries, and Hawk-Woods. Joining Upergy means joining a team of 300 passionate and committed employees across subsidiaries in France, Tunisia, China, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Enix Power Solutions specializes in the design and production of custom batteries for industrial applications, drones, robotics, instrumentation, and home automation.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work in a team of 4 people in France (Saint-Egrève) and 3 people in the UK (Solihull) and will be responsible for daily customer relations with the following main missions:

Responsibilities
  • Develop the brand in the UK, with potential expansion to a broader scope.
  • Manage an existing B2B client portfolio, including SMEs, mid-sized companies, and key accounts. Ensure regular follow-up and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while ensuring customer relationship management.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle (long sales cycles): identify needs, relay information to technical departments, present and monitor the offer, negotiate and close sales.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical, purchasing, workshop, and production teams.
  • Represent the brand at 2 to 3 major trade fairs or exhibitions per year and undertake occasional business travel to meet key client accounts or visit the French team.
Profile / Qualifications
  • Ideally, a dual background in electrical/electrotechnical engineering and business. If not, a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales in a technical industrial environment (customized equipment, technical components, etc.).
  • Strong business development mindset and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and organization to manage long sales cycles.
  • Technical curiosity about developments in cells, accumulators, batteries, battery packs, control electronics, and customer applications.
  • Versatile: able to handle prospecting, account management, customer follow-up, and administrative duties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good listening ability.
  • Proficiency in IT tools.

  • Compensation based on profile (fixed portion and variable portion): Basic £33,240 - £46,440; OTE £4,410 - £18,522.
