Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a driven Business Development Manager for the Chemicals & Hygiene sector in Lincolnshire. You will generate leads, visit clients, and manage accounts across hospitals, universities, and related industries, with a focus on expanding our Lincolnshire patch.

The role offers a base of £34,000 with on-target earnings up to £65,000, uncapped commission, and benefits including a company car, laptop, phone, fuel card and remote working options.

Qualifications

• Proven sales background, preferably in chemicals and hygiene industries.
• Full UK Driving licence is required.
• Based in Lincolnshire, willing to cover the Lincolnshire patch.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads, conduct client visits and manage accounts.
• Work 40 hours a week, primarily on the road with occasional office visits.
• Collaborate in a buddy system to focus time on sales and customer engagement.

Are you a driven Business Development Manager from a Chemicals, Hygiene or similar background, looking for a step up and to progress into senior roles within an established, growing business?

Do you have the ability to hit the floor running, bringing warm and cold calling experience, and the drive to work across the Lincolnshire patch?

This company supplies chemicals and hygiene products into hospitals and universities, along with providing kitchen design and installations as a sub sector, with 50 employees and a strong family culture.

In this role you will be in charge of selling cleaning chemicals and hygiene products into hospitals, universities and various other interesting industries exposing you to a wide range of clientele.

This role:

• Generating leads, client visits and account management
• Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
• On the road, with occasional visits to the office for sales meetings, training and company events
• Working within a buddy system, who deals with the admin, allowing you to concentrate your time into sales

The person:

• Proven sales background, (preferably chemicals and hygiene industry)
• Full UK Driving license
• Based in the Lincolnshire
