Allica Bank is expanding its regional team in the Midlands to build and manage a portfolio of bridging finance Introducers. You will originate, structure and progress deals from initial enquiry to completion while representing the bank at industry events and maintaining risk controls.

You will write credit papers, collaborate with stakeholder teams, and drive territory plans. A strong Midlands network, financial product experience and a collaborative mindset are essential for this hybrid role.

Formación

• Proven track record in business development within property finance.
• Knowledge of bridging finance processes: underwriting, deal structuring, compliance.
• Strong Midlands network with brokers, investors and developers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven; able to work independently in a regional territory.
• Experience with other finance products such as commercial investment and development finance.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Department Description

In August 2024, Allica Bank entered the bridging finance market with the acquisition of Tuscan Capital where its highly experienced team has been retained to help build a specialist division with the ambition to become a market leader in the bridging finance sector, leveraging our proven success in commercial mortgages and asset finance.

To support this growth, we are expanding our team into the regional areas to meet the increasing demands of the intermediary market.

Principal Accountabilities

• Building and relationship managing a portfolio of bridging finance Introducers in the Midlands, with responsibility for day-to-day management of the relationships.

• Originating, structuring, and progressing bridging applications from Introducers and Borrowers, from initial enquiry through to completion.

• Attending industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company’s brand and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

• Writing credit papers credit papers in line with Allica’s credit policy and appetite as well as working closely and collaboratively with various stakeholder teams to ensure smooth loan execution.

• Promoting the Banks culture and values.

• Being a positive contributor to Allica’s culture, and always promoting our values of Straightforward, Integrity, Collaborative and Delivery.

• Complying with all mandatory policies, and adherence to operational procedures to maintain internal controls.

• Delivering territory Business Plan and making an active contribution to targeted team lending volumes.

• Establishing and actively managing objectives and a personal development plan.

Personal Attributes & Experience

• Highly capable in business development with a track record of success in the property finance sector.

• Knowledge of the bridging finance process, including underwriting, deal structuring, and compliance.

• Strong network within the Midlands, including brokers, property investors, and developers.

• Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship-builder.

• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.

• Experience with other finance products such as commercial investment and development finance.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
