Business Development Manager - Biotech CDMO

A market leading biotech CDMO in Cambridge is actively looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new commercial goals and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of the business, devising the best business development plans for products and services that combine biology and engineering.
• Execute those plans and lead obtained projects.
• Have consultative conversations with new clients and translate customer needs to key people within the business.
• Work with customers across the globe and across multiple sites at once.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on scientific background in the biotechnology sector, ideally within biomanufacturing and/or synthetic biology.
• Commercial‑minded scientist with both hands‑on research experience and business development experience.
• Experience within cellular agriculture, bio‑based chemical manufacturing, or more generally, biomanufacturing.
