A leading supplier in the construction sector in Scotland is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and manage key accounts. This role focuses on relationship building with local authorities and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. The ideal candidate should have proven field sales experience and strong project management skills. A competitive compensation package is offered, including a bonus scheme and pension.
25 days, 5% pension, bonus scheme worth an additional £6k - £8k per year.
You’ll be responsible for driving sales across Scotland, managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities within the public sector, contractors, and specification markets. Our award-winning product range includes:

This is a consultative sales role focused on relationship building and project management, ensuring product specifications are maintained through to completion.
Your Customers
50% Local Authorities & Housing Associations (e.g. Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Highland, Moray, South Lanarkshire Councils, Springfield Properties and Hanover Housing)
30% Contractors (e.g. Able Care through Highland Council)
10% Architects & Specifiers (e.g. Summers Inman, George Douglas, JV Carroll, David Murray Associates)
10% Merchants (e.g. William Wilson)
Your Impact
You’ll play a key role in helping the company achieve its sales target for 2026, with overall sales around £5m. You’ll ensure projects are tracked, specifications are protected, and customers receive outstanding support and product knowledge.
