Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for identifying and securing new business opportunities, this role offers the perfect platform to make a real impact.

This role will require travel both in the UK and across Europe therefore a willingness to travel to client sites is a must.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify and develop high-value opportunities within the Defence & Space sector.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Manage pricing strategies and ensure commercial success.
  • Work closely with internal teams to transition projects smoothly into production.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven background in Business Development and Sales pipeline management.
  2. Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.
  3. Ability to be the voice of the customer within the business.
  4. Experience in negotiation and commercial discussions.

Desirable:

  1. Background in Defence or Aerospace industries.
  2. Knowledge of contracts, negotiations, and export trade controls (ITAR, government security classifications).
  3. Experience with engineering drawings and new product introductions.

Qualifications: A degree (or HNC/HND) in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
