Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance + Benefits

An established international manufacturer, renowned for its precision‑engineered components, is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across Europe. With state‑of‑the‑art facilities in the UK and Central Europe and decades of technical expertise, the business supplies complex, high‑volume parts to world‑class customers in Medical, Automotive and Industrial Technology.

The Role

This is a pivotal, strategic position with responsibility for shaping and delivering the next phase of expansion. Key duties include:

  • Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities into lasting partnerships.
  • Managing the entire customer journey — from first introduction through to commercial agreement.
  • Leading account growth strategies and targeted sector campaigns alongside marketing.
  • Negotiating major contracts and steering high‑value customer relationships.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to guide strategic direction.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development or technical sales within precision manufacturing, metalworking, or similar industries.
  • A track record of securing complex new business wins in technical markets.
  • A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Additional experience in international markets or working within ISO‑certified environments (such as ISO 13485) would be advantageous.
