Business Development Manager - Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) Sector

South East - Flexible Location/Hybrid

  • A fantastic opportunity to develop your career as my client's new internal Business Development Manager and join a global manufacturer of products which are sold to end users of outdoor power equipment (OPE).
  • My client is looking for someone with a successful sales background in the outdoor power equipment (OPE) industry.
  • You will have responsibility for selling the company's range of products to contractors, land owners, councils, housing associations, education etc, building business and developing and maintaining existing relationships; your remit will be developing new business opportunities and maintaining and growing strong, long term customer relationships.
  • Selling the range of products to a new customer base, converting potential customers to the company brand.
  • To be successful as my client's new internal Business Development Manager, you will possess well-honed relationship building skills and business development skill, together with a strong determination to succeed and a background in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) industry.
  • You will be a hard working, ambitious, confident, enthusiastic, resilient and goal-oriented internal Business Development Manager with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • You will have excellent relationship building skills and the ability to spot and optimise opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills will come easily to you, together with strong negotiation, commercial and analytical skills.
