About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a leading waste management company. You'll be responsible for growing existing accounts, winning new business, and providing exceptional account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional, proactive account management for new and existing clients across all waste services.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Generate and lead customer meetings and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Understand customer requirements and create tailored waste and recycling solutions.
  • Educate customers on improving recycling performance and hold site waste awareness days.
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Manage a structured sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture in all aspects of the role.

  • Self‑motivated, organised, and able to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Strong IT literacy (MS Office / CRM systems).
  • Full UK driving licence.
