Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Alcaline Group in Lympne Kent. You will be responsible for finding new business, managing accounts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient sales processes on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications and Primary duties
  • Road freight Sales experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Grow the company's road freight services, in accordance with our sales strategy
  • Serve as the main sales contact point for new customers.
  • Find, develop and qualify leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers
  • Maintain a sales pipeline to achieve agreed targets
  • Manage customer interactions including building relationships, making customer calls and closing deals
  • Drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
