Business Development Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Commission (Uncapped)

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00

Contract: Permanent

We are currently partnering with a leading name in the refrigerated logistics industry, known for their exceptional service, reliability, and family‑oriented culture. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building long‑term client partnerships, and expanding their footprint within the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK within the refrigerated transport and logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand business needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to promote brand awareness.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry (experience in refrigerated logistics is highly desirable).
  • Strong commercial awareness with a focus on identifying and converting opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide.
