Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a leading charity to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce compelling responses to grant applications, tenders and high-value funding opportunities.
  • Complete tender pre‑qualification questionnaires and manage all administration accurately and on time.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and maintain a dynamic funding pipeline for new and existing opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of service delivery, maintaining empathy and awareness of the needs of victims / survivors.
  • Deliver the grants and trusts elements of organisational fundraising strategies.
  • Monitor and report on all grants and commissioned services, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs.
  • Build and maintain positive long‑term relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Undertake quality assurance of all reporting and monitoring prior to submission.
  • Ensure policies and procedures meet the requirements of relevant quality assurance frameworks including VAWG standards, SafeLives, Women’s Aid NQS, and RESPECT principles.
  • Prepare written materials such as press releases, annual reports and communications aligned with organisational values.
  • Manage and quality‑assure subject access requests, complaints and data queries in line with GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
  • Support organisation‑wide improvement through data analysis, trend identification and feedback evaluation.
  • Lead and evaluate designated projects (e.g., website redevelopment), collaborating with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Record and maintain accurate statistics of enquiries and referrals.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior Business Development and contract management experience.
