Business Development Manager – Complex Mental Health (Crisis Care / CAMHS)

A fantastic opportunity to join a start-up complex mental health service specialising in crisis care for children and young people. This is a unique chance to be part of a new care provision at launch stage, backed by an established CAMHS recruitment specialist, and to play a key role in shaping and growing the service from the ground up.

The Business Development Manager will lead on developing referral pathways, building relationships with commissioners and stakeholders, and driving sustainable growth across CAMHS and crisis care services.

The Role
  • Develop and implement business development strategy for CAMHS and crisis care services
  • Build relationships with Local Authorities, ICBs, commissioners, and mental health partners
  • Identify and secure new referrals, contracts, and care packages
  • Support the launch and growth of a new complex mental health provision
  • Work closely with operational and clinical teams to ensure service readiness
  • Represent the service at meetings, forums, and networking events
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in business development within mental health or CAMHS
  • Strong understanding of crisis care and children & young people’s services
  • Confident relationship builder with a commercial mindset
  • Comfortable working in a start-up / growth environment
  • Motivated to help shape and scale a new service
