Overview

Business Development Manager - Facilities Manager | Field-Based | Permanent

Arcus FM is growing - and we're looking for an experienced, ambitious Business Development Manager to help us drive our next phase of growth across Facilities Management business.

The Role
  • You'll take the lead on identifying and securing new business opportunities aligned with our growth strategy. With a focus on Hard FM (and ideally experience developing integrated FM contracts), you'll:
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Network confidently across industry events and forums
  • Develop an understanding of the client's activities and requirements
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers
  • Work closely with our Operations team to shape, tender, and deliver winning solutions
  • Keep up to date with FM innovations, technology, and legislation to stay ahead of the curve

You'll report directly to the Business Development Director, collaborating with senior operational directorship and a close-knit, high-performing team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in Business Development within Facilities Management (Hard FM essential; Soft FM, Critical Services or Refrigeration experience an advantage)
  • Has demonstrable written skills
  • A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging at Director level
  • Has a great understanding of solution selling and the consultative approach
  • Commercially astute, methodical, and tenacious
  • Passionate about building long-term client partnerships
  • Prepared to be hands on and do whatever it takes to meet the demands of the clients.
  • Ready to grow your career within a fast-moving, forward-thinking business
