Business Development Manager - Utilities

Location : Remote

Commission

3% on gross margin for each project sold (subject to meeting targets)

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll play a key role in driving business growth. Working as part of a Pre‑Construction team, you’ll build strong client relationships, identify and secure new opportunities, and help deliver utility connection solutions that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships: Engage with developers, consultants, and contractors through meetings, calls, site visits, and regular follow‑ups.
  • Identify and secure opportunities: Use market insights to develop sales strategies and win new business across electricity, gas, and water sectors.
  • Collaborate internally: Work closely with estimating, tender, and design teams to shape competitive proposals and ensure client requirements are met.
  • Manage your pipeline: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, track performance metrics, and provide regular progress reports.
