Overview

Sustainability and financial savings are key perks of our products and services. We target commercial businesses, commercial property owners, manufacturers, M&E contractors and the like, supplying a Solar PV and BESS solutions that deliver financial savings, carbon reductions and energy independence. You will work as a Business Development Manager throughout the UK with an emphasis on the M4, M6, M5 corridor, leveraging knowledge of construction, M&E contractors, manufacturing and/or distribution businesses.

Salary and Benefits
  • Basic salary: £55,000 - £70,000
  • Uncapped bonus (year one)

Territory

Based from home, you will cover the whole of the UK with particular focus on the M5, M6, M4 corridors. Commutable locations include Bristol, Swindon, Oxford, Stoke, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Worcester, Coventry, Reading, Gloucester, etc.

Job Specification

Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager - Renewable energy - Construction, M&E, Large Manufacturers, Estate Owners, Commercial Property.

Join a business changing the UK approach to energy efficiency. In this role your commercial drive and strategic thinking will shape growth in the sustainability market.

You will know how to build opportunities from the ground up. While we provide inbound leads and a populated CRM, you will contribute with lead generation, identify prospects, open doors and create partnerships with decision-makers across the construction, M&E contracting, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within construction, M&E, and large industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Position the suite of full design, installation, maintenance, and finance of our energy systems.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, then nurture and grow accounts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored, technically sound solutions.
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data within our CRM.
  • Target around £1m in the first year; order values range £100,000 - £250,000; average lead times ~3-4 months.
Candidate Profile

To be successful, demonstrate knowledge and experience selling into the mentioned markets and industries. Ideally have sold energy-focused solutions (e.g., Solar PV, BESS, HVAC, LED lighting) and understand how to position ROI, efficiency, and environmental impact to clients operating large, energy-intensive premises such as manufacturing plants, warehousing and logistics hubs, food/bev producers, or automotive/chemical facilities.
