I am currently recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to join a well-established business specialising in customs solutions and international trade services. This is a fully remote position with national travel across the UK, offering a competitive base salary, plus uncapped OTE and car allowance.

Overview

New Business Development Manager responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the customs, logistics, and supply chain sectors across the UK, developing strategic sales plans, and managing client relationships from SMEs to large enterprises.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within the customs, logistics, and supply chain sectors across the UK
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on driving growth and expanding market share
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, from SMEs to large enterprise clients
  • Present and negotiate tailored commercial solutions for customs and trade compliance services
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial teams across Europe to ensure smooth implementation and client onboarding
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurate forecasting, and detailed CRM records
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings nationwide
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in customs, logistics, or supply chain business development or sales
  • A proven record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of customs processes, trade compliance, and supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a remote role
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
  • A full UK driving license
