Cybersecurity Business Development Manager

Location: UK, Birmingham (Hybrid)

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across mid‑market and enterprise accounts. You’ll work closely with our technical consultants, delivery teams, and sector leads to shape solutions that address clients’ risk, regulatory, and resilience challenges.

This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound activity, networking, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Understand client drivers, regulatory obligations (e.g. DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001), and threat landscapes to position appropriate service solutions.
  • Work with presales and consultants to scope and present technical engagements (e.g. Pen Testing, Red Teaming, vCISO, Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response retainers, SOC uplift).
  • Deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial models that demonstrate value and ROI.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, forecast accurately, and contribute to sales reporting.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client workshops.
