To support this next phase of growth, we are seeking a results‑driven Business Development professional with a passion for business growth and a strong interest in the energy and subsea industries.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, based in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ongoing growth strategy, working closely with the UK Managing Director and the wider Commercial team.

You will lead efforts to identify and secure new business opportunities, while nurturing relationships with existing clients across both UK and international markets.

In this role, you will collaborate with our Group Tendering and Engineering teams, applying strategic insights while remaining hands‑on, reinforced by strong commercial acumen.

The Key Responsibilities Within This Role
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the subsea, defence and offshore energy sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Support proposal efforts in collaboration with tendering, engineering and project teams.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and sector activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
The Key Qualifications And Skills We Are Looking For
  • Proven track record in business development, ideally within subsea, offshore, or energy sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Self‑starter with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
