Our client, a leading offshore solutions provider, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their EMEA commercial team, based in Aberdeen, on a permanent basis. The role and its responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:-

Managing key customer accounts, across different geographical markets including operators, drilling contractors and OEM's.
Working as part of a small team to support Account Manager, and Sales Director as well as liaising regularly with the internal sales, and technical teams.
Ensuring the business effectively markets products to the key decision makers in the industry, gaining market share and delivering new business.
Collaborate with both the regional team and wider global business, providing market intelligence and making key contributions to business planning and strategy.
Undertake regular travel in the EMEA region to support customers and business development.

The successful incumbent will have considerable experience working in the offshore industry.
Applications are invited from degree-qualified candidates in an engineering or similar discipline with experience of both technical and commercial / sales roles.
The successful applicant will have, or be expected to rapidly develop, a knowledge of product applications, and an awareness and understanding of chemistry, engineering and environmental considerations involved in the business.
Skilled in communicating with experienced and knowledgeable customers on application-related topics.
Candidates must have the ability develop effective and meaningful customer relationships at all levels - strategic, financial, operational and technical.
