Our client is looking for a driven, ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team.
This is a new business-focused sales role, responsible for identifying potential clients, generating new opportunities and converting prospects into long-term customers. The role will involve a significant amount of outbound sales activity, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting and lead generation.
The Business Development Executive will be selling a range of IT, technology and digital skills training solutions to businesses, helping organisations develop their workforce and address their current and future technology skills needs.
You don't need previous experience in the apprenticeship or training sector. What matters most is that you are a strong B2B salesperson who is confident picking up the phone, speaking to decision-makers, handling objections and closing new business.
Experience within apprenticeships, education, training, technology, SaaS or another consultative B2B sales environment would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who is sales hungry, resilient and confident.
You will be comfortable with the fact that this is a proactive business development role where cold calling and outbound prospecting are a core part of the job.
You should be someone who enjoys speaking to new people, isn't afraid of rejection and is motivated by targets, commission and winning new business.
